Extra Curricular Clubs and Activities
The Extra Curricular Clubs and Activities timetable will continue to be updated but our most current version is below.
Duke of Edinburgh
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is fantastic programme to get involved in that will help you to develop skills for life, learning and work.
In S3 pupils can sign up to be involved in the programme, where they can find themselves helping others in the community, getting fitter, developing skills and going on camping expeditions.
Pupils will begin at Bronze level and complete a personal programme of activities in four sections- Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition. As you progress to your Silver and Gold award the duration of the activities will increase. The best part about Duke of Edinburgh is that you can choose what you do for each section.
If you would like some more information on completing your Duke of Edinburgh Award at Lornshill please get in contact with the Duke of Edinburgh Leaders - Mr Blackhall, Mr Munro & Miss Gray.
You can visit the Duke of Edinburgh website for more information about how to get started on your activities for each section and the time frames that are required to be completed at each level:
