Clear and timely communication with our families is of paramount importance to ensuring that all members of our school community are kept informed about school matters relevant to them.

Depending on what needs to be communicated and to whom, we use a variety of platforms to connect with as many of our families as possible.

• If a message is required to be viewed by all families, then this will be sent through our Groupcall system and will arrive in either a text message or email. It is vitally important that the annual data capture forms are completed accurately so that we have correct contact details for all families.
• Our school website holds all information that we believe is important for all members of our school community to be aware of. Should there be something that you believe needs added, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
• Our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter are used to give members of our community an insight into what day-to-day life at Lornshill Academy is like. These accounts will show activities undertaken by students and highlight achievements. In some instances, we will also post announcements on social media as well as through our other platforms.
